We never know beforehand what the numbers will be for any cafe: today, with a sudden hailstorm, the street lights on at two, and torrential rain, we didn’t expect a busy cafe – especially after a chapel lunch. But how wrong we were! The craft group delighted us with an elegant display of cakes and sandwiches, and with tempting stalls, and a very good time was had by all.
