In Cilcain Village Hall

Start date: 13/09/11  Day/time: Tuesday 13.30 – 15.30

Llanllawen – the FUN way to learn Welsh!

Llawllawen is a pioneering course, with a very strong emphasis on speaking Welsh as Welsh is spoken in the community, rather than book Welsh. A variety of teaching methods are used, so the course will appeal to learners with different learning styles. Teaching is informal and relaxed. You will be given plenty of opportunity to practice, so that by the end of the course you will be able to:

– Pronounce Welsh placenames and Welsh words correctly

– Greet people

– Count

– Talk a little about yourself, such as giving your name, saying where you live and work.

– Ask for and give information about leisure activities

– Make a cup of tea through the medium of Welsh

In addition, you will be made aware of the many informal learning opportunitiesin the area that are available to Welsh learners. This programme of fun activities will help you practice your Welsh, and so you are naturally encouraged to take part in them.
