Welsh Border Community Transport Cafe

Our next Community Café, on Saturday 3rd November, will be run in aid of Welsh Border Community Transport.  The doors will be open between 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm for refreshments and delicious home-made cakes, and there will be a raffle, too.
The WBCT helps organisations such as societies, clubs, care homes and churches, as well as individuals, to pay a small membership fee which allows them to book a bus when they require it.
Shopping trips to local supermarkets are arranged for elderly people, helped by funding from Flintshire County Council.
The Community Car Scheme takes elderly and disabled people in Buckley and Deeside for medical appointments.
All car drivers are volunteers who use their own cars.
