Cilcain Village Gardens in conjunction with the NGS

Four beautiful gardens will be open in Cilcain as part of the National Garden Scheme on Saturday July 7th, 2018.
Cilcain is a very pretty and colourful village and the community run the Village Hall, Show and Plant Fair.
You are now invited to come along and enjoy 4 of our gardens to raise funds for the NGS and our new Village Hall Garden.
Parking is available at the Village Hall and the church, and by the Old Water Pumping Station – enjoy a circular walk of about 1.4 miles to cover all gardens.
Rest and admire the views at NYTH Y WENNOL (3) with its borders and vegetable plot, then carry on to the bottom of the hill, turn left and see DELFRYN (4) a large well planted cottage garden with pond, woodland, large vegetable plot, roses, hydrangeas and seats to relax on. Only disabled parking on drive please, otherwise by the Old Water Pumping Station. Then walk up Pentre hill to TY MAWR (2) with its flowery meadow and specimen trees and shrubs. A short walk back towards the A541 brings you to Lon Cilan where the immaculate NUMBER 6 (1) can be found on the right-hand side.
Please note that wheelchair access is not easy through all the gardens.
Tickets, maps, refreshments and good cakes available at the Village Hall.
The gardens will be open from 11:30am – 5:00pm.
Combined admission to all gardens is £5.00, children go free and dogs on short leads are welcome.
Plant sales at the Village Hall and at 6, Lon Cilan.
