As promised earlier, here are the visual plans for the ‘Reflective Garden’ planned for the old school yard adjoining the Village Hall in Cilcain.
Here is what is proposed:
Planting to match Cilcain Church Yard with gravel surfacing.
A combination of 100mm and 200mm high raised beds with timber
edge along the south stone wall.…
Curving slatted timber bench.
Slatted timber gate in a similar form to bench to tie in with proposal.
Memorial art on the walls to create a more intimate ‘outdoor/indoor’
space.
Planting bed at garden entrance reduced and existing conifer removed to improve the entrance.
Specimen grasses to be planted behind the timber bench improve
integration between hard and soft elements.
