Cilcain Village Hall Management Committee are intending to convert the unused old playground attached to the Village Hall into a communal garden. This will involve resurfacing, the creation of flower borders, new planting and the provision of seating. In addition, a new wider entrance is planned (and this will involve removing the existing large conifer) – full plans to follow soon, but in the meantime, these may be seen in the noticeboard at the village car park, or on the board inside the Hall.
We are commissioning a wooden seat that will be dedicated to the memory of our friend David Johnson who contributed so much to the improvement and development of the Village Hall.
We will be holding some fundraising events to meet the costs of the work and materials. Information about these to follow!
