Come on, get involved in our 6th Scarecrow Competition! We’d like to involve as many households as possible, so get the whole family thinking of their original ideas now! Please display your scarecrow on your property where it can be seen from the road during the week before the Show, but bring it to the church yard before 10.00 am on Show Day for judging (scarecrows left at owner’s risk).
The competition is open to everyone and the theme this year is “A Lamb For All Seasons”. Your scarecrow should be given a title and will be judged on its variety and suitability of materials, and originality and personality.
Don’t forget to hand in your entry form if you want to win a prize – remember, no form, no prize! You can just put your scarecrow up for fun, too! In the ‘Families’ class, consideration will be given to input from children.
