\"\"<\/a>As a nation of tea lovers we\u2019ll use any excuse to put the kettle on, so why not raise a cuppa for a good cause and support the troops. The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA)- Forces Help\u2019s annual Big Brew Up campaign takes place this autumn, where we ask the whole country and overseas operations to organise tea parties, raising vital funds for the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.<\/p>\n

Cilcain Community Cafe will host a Big Brew Up on Sepetmber 24th at Cilcain Village Hall, and everyone is invited!<\/p>\n

SSAFA Forces Help also focuses particular attention on families, providing assisted housing for families of injured service personnel at our Norton Homes, support groups, a confidential support line and also though our national network of branches in the UK and on military bases.<\/p>\n

Shelley Cooper, mother of Kingsman Anthony Cooper, stayed at SSAFA Forces Help\u2019s Norton House after her son was badly injured by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. She describes her experience of staying at the homes saying: \u201cWe were welcomed in like you would welcome in your gran. Being there with other families who are also going through the same thing made me feel cocooned in a protective bubble. I don\u2019t think I could have coped without them. \u00a0For Anthony to know that we\u2019ve been looked after gives him what he needs to keep going.
