Village History Day:\u00a020th November<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In Cilcain Village Hall, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On November 20th, we will be holding a Village History Day.<\/p>\n

We will be displaying the huge 19th Century Village Map, which is in the keeping of the Community Council.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be clearly lit and laid out on the village hall floor, and you will be able to look at a detailed picture of the village in the past.<\/p>\n

It will be possible to photograph details.<\/p>\n

There will be a display of items relating to local history, together with slides and pictures of village life.<\/p>\n

As well as displaying the village’s past, we will be recording it!<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you have memories of farming in the Clwydian Range?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

As part of a continuing initiative investigating the history of the area, we are keen to meet and hear reminiscences of farming in the Clwydian Range over the past hundred years.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

During the day we will be hoping to record memories of farming in the Clwydians. We would also be interested in pictorial records of the last 100 years.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
