Thanks to all our Cafe-Goers – and the next two weeks – a Knotting cafe and a Latin American disco!

Last Saturday’s Craft Fayre was a tremendous success: a packed hall, and a wonderful array of goods. Thanks to all who helped to make it such a success!

This coming week our smaller-scale cafe gives us a chance to show off how far work on the Hall has gone. In the next fortnight, we should have the main body of the Hall complete – Jon has nearly finished the panelling as I write, and will be plastering the walls over the coming week. The Hall already has a fresh, bright feel.


Handing it over to you

At Jon’s suggestion, we will be offering you a chance to help us practically this weekend – we’d like as many people as possible to come and help us prepare the panelling for painting by ‘knotting’ the pine panels on the lower walls. All that is needed is a keen group of volunteers and a steady hand. We may even apply some undercoat! At the same time a group may put some white paint on the upper walls. An all accompanied by tea, coffee, cakes, and company.


…and then, while the faint smell of resin lingers in the air…we have our first, GRAND
